What you get... Overview of EuroREX Services
The European Renewable Energy eXchange (EuroREX) is a Commercial service providing information on renewable energy in all of Europe. EuroREX is divided into three levels of service. The homepage with general information is free. The other two are for EuroREX subscribers. An overview of these services is provided below. The services are: General Information The General Information service is provided free to all EuroREX visitors. It provides:

The Newsletter provides detailed, insightful and up-to-date news reports from all over Europe on a twice monthly basis. The Newsletter includes information on conferences, workshops and other meetings of relevance to subscribers, including important dates, contacts and sources. The Newsletter includes reviews of publications, including contacts and sources. The Commercial Service provides detailed renewable information on a country and technology basis, as well as a wide range of data, contacts, links to EuroREX partners, and an expanding range of commercial services geared to the subscriber. Samples of the Newsletter and the Commercial Service pages are provided herein. Samples for the General Information and Commercial Service country are provided for Europa, a hypothetical country member of the EuroREX consortium. A sample Newsletter is provided to show the reader what to expect when subscribing to that service. The Newsletter provides the subscriber with a twice-monthly services with the most up-to-date information on renewable energy in Europe. The Newsletter draws upon more than 30 EuroREX country partners, and associated trade and industry groups and associations. Partners write topical, interesting articles on renewable energy developments, policies, laws, research and topics of interest in their country. An average of 15 news articles is provided the reader in each issue. Additionally, the most current information on renewable energy conferences, workshops and seminars, both of national, regional, European and international interest, is provided and updated with each Newsletter. Reviews of research, articles and publications are also provided to Newsletter subscribers. Detailed information on current local, national and European tenders and bids is provided to Newsletter subscribers. News on the latest European Commission calls for tenders, and items related to new EC programmes relevant to subscribers are also provided. Click here for a Sample EuroREX Newsletter.Subscription to the Newsletter for 12 months is UK£30 sterling (+ 17.5% VAT for EU15 countries) payable by credit card through EuroREX's NetBank service, or by cheque through EuroREX's mail address; Information provided by the Commercial Service is divided into several distinct areas. The Commercial Service provides subscribers with the most detailed information on the state of renewable energy and renewable energy technology development in Europe on a country and technology basis. Country Reports Renewable energy country profiles are prepared and updated by each EuroREX Consortium country partner to reflect the most contemporary, up-to-date information on policies, finance, legislation, R&D, production, investment, exports and other key topics of interest to the subscriber. This is set in the context of each country's overall energy situation with reference to national energy balances, specific and general energy markets, legislation and policies, and the country's economic and political framework. As with all of EuroREX, the country page is prepared and updated with an eye to the commercial development, investment in, and exploitation of renewable energy resources. Detailed current assessments of each country's renewable energy resource base are set out. The state of development of renewables, with such key information as current investment programmes and opportunities, financial packages and support, government, EC and international (e.g., GEF, World Bank, EBRD) support programmes, policies, supports, and other topics of interest are provided in these detailed country reports. Country pages also include projections of renewable energy development under certain assumptions based upon the most current information provided by each country partner. Information is checked and updated at least every two months by each EuroREX partner. Subscribers can access and contact EuroREX country partners directly to obtain additional information, and to make strategic links with the most strategically-placed renewable energy firms and institutes in Europe. Country pages include important links to renewable energy manufacturers, research bodies, government bodies, and others of interest. Future development of the EuroREX Commercial Service will include bulletin boards (e.g., for developing proposals, for forming bidding consortia, for identifying partners for investment, etc.), interest and chat groups, teleconferencing, and other state-of-the art subscriber services. It shows the extent to which commercial, policy, legislative, financing and planning issues are dealt with within the Commercial Service. It demonstrates the kind of information that is continuously updated by in-country EuroREX partners to ensure the subscriber gets the most contemporary information on renewable energy in that country. The Commercial Service provides detailed, up-to-date, commercial, financial, investment and market information on all key renewable energy technologies. Commercial Service technology reports represent the state-of-the-art developments and research on renewables in Europe. Information is drawn from partners and associates, from their commercial work, and from a wealth of EuroREX contacts. Technology reports provide in-depth information on technologies, supports for development, legislation affecting development, investment opportunities, exports, fiscal policies, national, European and world issues relevant to European technology development. The technology reports are updated at least every two months to take into consideration the extent of new technology, commercial and market developments, policies, legislation, and other factors that affect the commercial markets for each technology. Extensive news on conferences, trade and industry associations, EC and government support programmes, among others, are included for Commercial Service subscribers. As with country pages, bulletin boards, interest and chat groups, teleconferencing and other services will soon be provided for EuroREX Commercial Service subscribers.
